Hand Sharpener vs. Electric Sharpener

I've gone round and round with some of my friends about pencil sharpeners. I know that seems like a weird thing to get riled about, but that's me. I tried to explain the differences between hand and electric sharpeners and they just didn't get it.

I like my sharpener so much that I ordered 4 more for my room.      I am going to have one at each table and have one person from the table sharpen pencils in the morning before we get started for the day. Then, we will be ready for our day!
