Permanent Marker Magic!
2:24 PM
Hi there kids! Hope you are all having a Super Saturday! I am . . . just hanging around playing on my computer and trying to get a little work done!
Yesterday, I went in to school so I could put a few things away, and got a little distracted. I started cleaning the names off of my Homework Lotto game pieces. As I was doing this, I remembered one of my friends coming to ask me for fingernail polish remover so she could take the permanent marker off her name cards. I couldn't believe that she didn't know about this little trick! Don't worry . . . the video is only 1 minute long!
Well, what do you think? Pretty cool, huh? I love this trick because I can't stand the smell of fingernail polish! Happy Saturday!

ReplyDeleteThat is awesome!!! Thank you so much you just saved me a lot of time and money!! I use dry erase marker on most of my things and have to rewrite them throughout the year because it wipes offs!! Thank you for sharing!!!
ReplyDeleteHairspray will also remove permanent marker, but I don't always have that on hand. Thanks for the tip.

Hi Susan,
DeleteWill you please try again? I think I have the problem fixed now. I forgot to click the box that says I would share with anyone with the link. :) Sorry for your trouble!
Hilary
Who knew? I always have the illegal bottle of 100% acetone hidden in the filing cabinet (SSSHHHH!) for this. Thanks so much for sharing and keeping me out of teacher jail! Oh and by the way, I really love those homophone sliders. Just these past few weeks I have been racking my brain for a good way for kids to practice. My problems are solved! You really are a Rockin' Teacher!
