Lakeshore's Computer Games are a Hoot! Win One!

I had never tried one of their games because I thought I had to have a SMART Board. However, I found out that you can run them on a computer! My kids have had a blast checking them out too. The 'Phonics Quiz Game Show' is one of their favorite games.

It allows the students to choose their box and gives them a question. Here is an example of one of the questions. Here's what happens if they get the answer wrong:

I also had my kids check out
'Can Do! Reading Game Show: Phonemic Awareness' and they loved it. I think the robot/space theme was a lot more up their alley!

They loved spinning the wheel to get their category. It seemed like Wheel of Fortune in there!

  12. My students absolutely love playing the one Lakeshore game that we have, Tiki Challenge. The best thing with that game is that they have fun playing it and don't realize that they are learning too!
