Whew! I Think I'm Gonna Survive Vegas!

Wow! What an exhilarating, yet exhausting week I had in Vegas! You may know I set up a booth at the 'I Teach K' conference last week. Everything went great and I couldn't have done it without my wonderful husband, Daniel and my best friend Jenny, and her husband Tim. However, we did learn a lot from the school of LIFE . . . what to DO and what NOT to do!
I know something I will definitely DO if I do a conference again~I will invest in cushy floor tiles to stand on. My feet were KILLING me after standing on that floor all day! It didn't help that we had to walk miles a day just to get back to our room!

I presented a mini-workshop at the conference too. I discussed the way I allow my kids to make their own choices for their learning stations, while assuring they attend all stations throughout the week.

There were about 100 people that attended! I hope I helped some of them with the organization of student choice in their classroom.

I also had the opportunity to hang with awesome friends from my 'real world' and my blog world too. I got to hang with so many awesome teachers! Check out all these pics . . . and these are just a few that I could get my hands on!
And, let's not forget about the amazing teacher-blogger meet up! Wow, what a night! We even met 'Greasy Elvis' . . . Ewww!

Linda Kamp from {Around the Kampfire} and I even got invited to dinner by Amy at TpT! I was so flattered to be asked!
If you would like to check out more pics, head over to {What the Teacher Wants Linky Party}! There are tons of great pics!

Well, I did survive the big city, although it really took a long time for me to recover! Luckily I am recovering at the gorgeous Oregon coast! I LOVE this place!
A huge thank you to our sponsors who made our Vegas meet-up possible!

Thank you to those who donated some fabulous prizes!

  3. Getting to meet THE Hilary Lewis was one of the highlights of my trip for sure! I am jealous of your picture of the Oregan coast. I came home to find a house that had three kids in it for a week with no mama. NOT so goreous! :)- Autumn
