Since I have you here...I want to give you a peek of my newest math mystery! I have the 2nd and 3rd grade ones done...The newest  math mystery is called The Mystery of the Scrambled New Year's Snowman

I think this story came out really cute and I know your kids are gonna love it! I can't wait to use it with my little boogers sweeties! Remember to click the pics to get yours!
These are examples of the 2nd grade questions. I am using the
common core standards to come up with the questions for
these books.  If you have some suggestions for questions,
leave a comment below. I'd love to hear from you!

These pages are the 3rd grade version of the same book.

I have had a request for a 1st grade version. My biggest problem with a 1st grade version is the reading part. So, for all of my first grade buddies out there...I would love to hear your ideas on how you could use this with your firsties. I thought that using it with guided reading groups would work...I also have done these books with my whole class...they do the problems on their white boards and then write what page they think I should go to. I think you could have good discussions with the word problems as well.

Let me know what you think!

Happy New Year to everyone! I still have tomorrow off...then, it's back to my real life!
