Check Out the Easi-Speak & Win One for Your Class!

I have had the awesome privilege of trying out an extremely innovative educational tool.  The Easi-Speak from Learning Resources absolutely ROCKS! I have so many ideas about how to use it, but I thought I would start with this one.

One of my little cuties had drawn the most beautiful picture of a bunny rabbit. I asked her to write a story about it, but she was a little hesitant, so I asked her to tell me the story first. Well, she told the cutest story to go with it! So then I had one of those 'ah-ha' moments and snatched up my Easi-Speak! I showed her how to record the story. After she was finished, I showed her how to play the story back. Let the writing begin! She began listening to a little and then writing it on her paper . . . listening a little more, then writing it on her paper . . . I think you get the pattern!

Here she is at work!

Before I knew it, she had the entire story down on paper and ready to be edited! She was so excited to have a 'published' story so quickly! What a great way to get those kids writing!

Have you ever used the Easi-Speak? How do you use it?
If not, how would you use it in your classroom?
Just click on the Read More at the end of this post, and leave a comment and your email address and you could win one to use with your little munchkins in your classroom!

Be sure to visit Learning Resources on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Pinterest! Aren't they awesome for offering such a neat gadget? Visiting these sites and following them is a great way to say THANKS!
